Will You Be a Prophet

Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. - Isaiah 43:18-19

This year we’re invited into a whole new way of being. This year, we get to live it with God. We get to life it with God. We get to live if for God.

Truth be told, we’re invited into this whole new way of being every day, every hour, every moment - but when a year turns over a new page, sometimes we get to see things anew.

Ask Jesus to empower you deeper into union with his Spirit this year. And maybe even considering praying a big, adventuresome prayer for your year.

Maybe you could even pray that you become a sort of prophet this year. As the great 20th century Rabbi said:

Others may be satisfied with improvement, but prophets insist upon redemption. - Abraham Heschel
