Explore Resources to Lead You into Quiet Daily
“I need MORE of this, more help creating quiet in my life.” We heard so many variations of this after our 5 minute practice of guided meditation on Sunday morning.
And despite the distractions so many of us feel from our devices, which we also talked about on Sunday, technology can sometimes be a helpful resource in this area! Below you’ll find a short list of guided meditation possibilities, many updating daily - would you like to pick one to try out this morning? You can always return and try another on another day, if the first doesn’t resonate.
Pray as You Go - a free audio meditative-prayer app, offering daily 10-13 minute guided sessions with music, scripture, and reflection questions, in the Ignatian style.
Practice with Us - guided meditation videos from Richard Rohr’s Center for Action and Contemplation, from 2-15 minutes long.
Black Liturgies - Breath prayers by Cole Arthur Riley, on Instagram.
In the Depths - 7 different guided contemplative practice called “examen” with Enfleshed, an organization drawing deeply from liberationist and queer lenses.
Sacred Space - similar to Pray as You Go, but you can read through the meditation guide onscreen.
