God Delighting Over You

The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
    but will rejoice over you with singing.
                      - Zephaniah 3:17

Can you imagine God delighting in you? That means that God is not just putting up with you. That means that God is not simply your creator or your savior. That means that you are not a nuisance to God. That means that means that God has not forgotten you, gotten bored with you, or somehow is disinterested in you.

The scripture is very clear that God DELIGHTS in you. So much so that God is singing over you! That's a lot of delight. Take a few minutes in silence to do the deep work of allow in God's delight. Right now, take some time today to specifically ask God to help you understand with you mind what it means to be delighted in. Take some time today to specifically ask God to help you feel that delight.
