Oriented to Love

Pursuing a unity that is deeper than agreement.

Are you a faith leader who feels unprepared for (or just uncomfortable with) some of the questions you are asked and the people you serve? Do you need spaces where you can wrestle honestly, and in community, with these challenging questions—matters that may seem academic for some but for others can mean the difference between Christian community and isolation/loss of faith, sometimes even between life and death?

Liberated Together

Supports women and non-binary POCs to develop spiritual and leadership skills.

We create healing spaces for Women of Color, Queer WOC, non-binary and trans folks who have been shaped by Christianity to exhale, connect, and reimagine faith and justice work in ways that are life-giving and sustainable.

Long Beach Church Collective

The Long Beach Church Collective started in early 2020 as an effort to serve local churches and Christian leaders in Long Beach as they serve their various communities.

The Long Beach Church Collective has two primary arms. One arm is the regular, ongoing ministry which focuses on relationships and resources for ministry leaders (e.g. prayer, pastoral care, learning and service opportunities, and parties). The other arm focuses on initiatives that address real-time needs that the church in Long Beach can rally around.

Mike & Michelle Beard
(One Collective)

Bringing people together through coffee and vocational training to build, model, and mobilize inclusive and accessible communities throughout Vietnam.

Mike and Michelle run a sustainable retail business and vocational training center for neurodiverse young adults. After completing the training program, we help with job placement assistance within our growing network of partner businesses. Another important way we are coming alongside these amazing adults is by providing social opportunities for them to make friends, have fun, serve in their community and develop a spiritual life with the support of peer mentors.
