What’s CCLB’s FEEL?

Very casual and friendly, whether you join us online or in-person. We’re not super “churchy.”

And whatever your personal or spiritual background, whatever the state of your soul these days, someone else here will resonate. We’re an eclectic group, and we really enjoy that.

if you’re new to CCLB

  • Our meeting spot is ADA accessible.

  • Parking is available street-side as well as in the school staff lot accessed from Burnett.

  • We’re mask-friendly & encourage people to prioritize caring well for each other (e.g., staying home if feeling sick).

  • Patio seating is also available, with good audio & some visual.

What About Kids & Youth?

KIDS: We offer nursery care for our 0-3 year olds, and our older kids (PreK-5th grade) are invited out mid-service for story, crafting and play.

YOUTH: We love having our pre-teens and teens with us in worship, but a youth group is slowly developing, with once a month mid-service meetings and some fun gatherings. We’re always on the lookout for ways to involve youth and help them develop community.

You may just be checking us out - welcome! When you’re ready, you can say “Invite Me.”

Neighbor Churches in or near Long BEACH

If you would like to find a church in the Long Beach area and feel like City Church isn't a right fit for you for whatever reason, may we recommend some awesome churches that we call friends? They are doing amazing things and we cannot do what we do without them.

*These particular churches include LGBTQ people in all areas of life and ministry.

If you live Further Away…

  • Of course you’re welcome on our Zoom (info at top)!

  • Two inclusive online communities that friends of ours help lead: Harbor Online; and Miriam’s Song, which is based in Oakland and esp. for women and non-binary folks of color.

  • You can also try searching Nu Community for an inclusive congregation near you.
